NATURE:
Nature photography is taken outdoors and displays natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. It can be taken in a variety of ways but mainly consists of plants and flowers.

DIFFERENT VIEWPOINTS:
The viewpoint refers to the position the photograph is taken from. The viewpoint can dramatically change the feel of the photograph. If the photo has been taken from a low angle, the object(s) in the image will look significantly bigger whereas if the picture was taken above, the object(s) will look fairly smaller than their actual life size.

TEXTURES:
Textures in photography are how different objects are incorporated into the image and how multiple textures merge together. Some examples of smooth textures are rubber and plastic and some examples of bumpy textures are wood and soil.
|
|
VIVID COLOURS:
Using vivid colours in photography is taking pictures that have many vivid colours. This can be the main object or the background. Some examples of photographing bright colours could be a carnival.

|
EDGES:
Edges in photography is when you take pictures of corners of objects. This is a very interesting angle and therefore makes the picture more engaging to the viewer.

ANALYSING MY WORK:
LION.
This photo, taken as part of the treasure hunt, focusses on the lion figurine in the foreground as the natural background is slightly blurred. The low angle causes the lion figurine to look larger than life size as it takes over most of the image. The camera blurred out the background as it managed to distingusish it from the object. Apart from that, no edits were done. |
